Seventy years after it sold its last bottle of perfume, Louis Vuitton has returned to the olfactory world with the launch of its highly-anticipated fragrance collection...
French luxury label Louis Vuitton has ended its decades-long hiatus from the perfume world with the launch of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton. The task of creating this momentous collection fell to master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, who drew inspiration from his world travels to create seven scents; Rose des Vents, Turbulences, Dans la Peau, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire and Mille Feux.
The feminine scents were each created to elicit certain senses, from a feeling of lightness and an affinity to the natural world to the discovery of deep hidden emotions as well as the delight of first experiences. As well, the ingredients used in these stunning fragrances are sourced from all around the world and they include exotic specimens such as the sambac jasmine from China.
The Les Parfums Louis Vuitton collection will be available in all boutiques from September 1.
