Spread over two floors and 6,500-square-foot, La Galerie is housed in the same northern suburb of Asnières-sur-Seine grounds as the former Louis Vuitton family home and functioning workshops where the iconic French fashion house still creates its super luxurious made-to-order pieces.
A VIP party was thrown today to mark the launch of the new creative space, which is now home to over 400 objects and documents from the Louis Vuitton archives of 26,000 objects and 165,000 documents.
Take a look at some of the treasures – from stand-out pieces by Louis Vuitton creative directors past and present (including Ghesquière, Kim Jones and Marc Jacobs), to vintage pieces from the likes of Jeanne Lanvin, and period product brochures.
