Vivienne Westwood presents a gender bending presentation in Paris for Autumn/Winter 15.
The 'Queen of Punk' shows no signs of abdicating her reign, as once again her wildly imaginative anarchic streak drives another creative collection. Westwood blurs the lines between male and female with a co-ed line up of models wearing the ready-to-wear designs. Women wore pant suits and oversized coats and sported shaven heads, whilst men wore lipstick, high heels and those signature Westwood corseted dresses (and vice versa), all the while the designs retained a feminine attitude.
In her usual style Westwood opted to use her platform to shine light on the political issues on her mind, which one would be forgiven for assume was a gender equality message, but as she addressed the crowd she urged those in the UK to engage in the 'Time to Change' climate change movement.
