Paris Fashion Week: Ann Demeulemeester Autumn/Winter 2015
The Ann Demeulemeester collection for Autumn/Winter 15 by the label's new(ish) creative director, Sebastien Meunier, is an all black affair, almost. Discover the looks fresh from the Paris runway here...
Sebastien Meunier presented his third collection for the label that Ann Demeulemeester established. After a lighter Spring 15 collection that shone with bright whites that lightened the labels signature dark, and yellow floral details, Meunier has gone back to black.
Black layered on black in a variety of finishes, sheer mixed with high shine leather mixed with rich wools dripped with a brooding sense of tortured romanticism. Fetishistic accents pervaded the beauty and accessory styling. Hair was worn long with sections wrapped tightly around neck, like organically formed chokers and statement obi-esque belts cinched in waists.
One bright red gown in a loose fitting silhouette lead the small break away pack of colour pieces which also included a shimmer gold coat and some silver and black stripped trousers.
