Selfridges has joined forces with British boutique company Everyman Cinemas, to open a cinema room at its London flagship.
A 3,500 square-foot cinema opened at Selfridges yesterday. The space has a total of 60 seats and will now national movie releases alongside classic films. Opened in partnership with Everyman Cinemas – the cinema features a retro vibe, hosting leather, bouclé and fabric vintage-esque sofas alongside the best new modern technology – Sony 4K and Dolby integrated sound.
The first feature to be screened is Audrey Hepburn's classic Breakfast at Tiffany's.Annie Hall, Clueless, The Devil Wears Prada, The September Issue and Zoolanderare also on the schedule for the coming weeks.
The cinema will remain open for at least until early 2015 and will serve a selection of snacks for movie-goers. Advanced bookings can be made on Selfridges website and guests can look forward to Halloween and Valentines themed events in October and February respectively.
