London's iconic Dover Street Market store marks its 10th anniversary next week, and to celebrate, its founder Rei Kawakubo is staging a series of events and installations – and launching a host of special products for the retail concept, which all made their debut this week.
Alongside a space dedicated to Louis Vuitton's AW14 collection, there is a Nike Lab space carrying an edited range of sneakers. There is also a Good Design Shop in the basement, a collaboration between Comme des Garçons – designed by Kawakubo – and the Japanese homewares firm D & Department, which carries simple and functional stationery and home items, following the opening of a similar unit in Dover Street Market's New York store.
Among the special products are souvenir items designed or selected by Kawakubo, such as flip-flops, a check tote bag and mugs, which are all sold in special market stalls in the store. 
Adrian Joffe, president of Comme des Garçons International, the parent company of Dover Street Market, said he hopes the month of celebrations "encapsulates everything about Dover Street Market – its essence, its spirit, its detail, its abstraction, big famous names [and] small unknown names."
