Since the 1990s, the House of Lesage has been designing tweeds for Chanel's collections  and since 2008 its Haute Couture pieces  remaining at the top of the tweed game for over 20 years. Lesage tweed features a sophisticated array of threads from a wide variety of materials, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship and exquisite detail.  
Lesage tweeds allow for open and limitless creativity and François Lesage is known for giving endless twists to the materials used – from wool, lace and cotton to more surprising choices such as plastics and plastic threads, zips, chains, strips of leather and denim – helping bring Karl Lagerfeld's themes and inspirations to life.
The tweed is made by weaving the warp and weft, using a variety of different kinds of threads which creates a unique appearance for each tweed.
