Isabel Marant has joined forces with on-trend bike brand Heritage Paris for a second collaboration, this time creating a limited edition beach racquet game. An elegant way to while away a day by the sea, available from May.
After their first skateboard-centered partnership in February 2013,Isabel Marant has once again collaborated with Heritage Paris, this time bringing her Parisian touch to the Israeli beach game, Matkot. Israel's national sport doesn't follow strict guidelines; the aim of the game is to have as long a rally with your opponent as possible, similar to the bat and ball games seen every summer on beaches across the Mediterranean. For a Parisian touch, the wooden racquets have been painted in black and laser-engraved with a series of inscriptions, completed with a perforated black leather handle, and decorated with Heritage Paris' red, white and blue ribbon. There are only 150 matkot kits available, on sale from May but they come complete with a cotton bag and three Mr Hatman balls, Isabel Marant's hand-drawn mascot.
