For the fifth year in a row, Chanel is setting up for the summer in St Tropez, with a pop-up store in La Mistralée until October 6.
St Tropez and Chanel have a strong history. Gabrielle Chanel drew inspiration from the brand's Mediterranean atmosphere, Karl Lagerfeld paid tribute in his short film Remember Now and the Riviera town has also been the location for some of the house's Cruise shows. Not to mention that the Paris-based brand is setting up a summer pop-up shop in the city for the fifth consecutive year, in the center of the town until October 6. The unique space is in the rooms and gardens of the La Mistralée mansion, with interior design that echoes the Chanel Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas 2013-2014 collection. The collection itself, which looks to the American Far West esthetic, can be found in the store, alongside a selection of accessories, as well as the Chanel Spring/Summer 2014 collection, plus jewelry, watches and make-up. An exclusive range of beauty products will be unveiled at the pop-up store over the coming weeks; something to keep your eyes out for, worth the trip alone.
Chanel pop-up shop, from April 26 to October 6, 1 avenue du Général Leclerc, 83990 Saint-Tropez.
