Claridge's, the world-famous hotel in London's Mayfair, has this year invited Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to design the Christmas tree that sits proudly in the hotel lobby for the festive season. The pair have injected some Sicilian folklore into the hotel, which is renowned for its signature British charm, with traditional pupi dolls crafted by Sicilian artisans, hand-painted baubles and luminous decorations created by South Italian artists.

It's almost 10 years since H&M's first designer collaboration, a tradition that began when the Swedish brand invited Karl Lagerfeld to design a collection for them in 2004. Since then, Stella McCartney, Lanvin,Versace, Sonia Rykiel and more recently Maison Martin Margiela have all tried their hand on the high street, and in November Isabel Marant followed in their footsteps with a capsule collection of timeless ready-to-wear pieces. In the French fashion house's signature style, the designs are cozy and cosmopolitan, combining bohemian and rock inspirations with western and sportswear appeal. These studded suede heels with silver sequins are a perfect example, blending rock and disco influences for chic Parisian charm. As the collection's release drew closer and fashion-lovers all over the city geared up to take H&M stores by storm on November 14, these heels were at the top of everyone's shopping list.
