Alexander Wang for Balenciaga?

Still just a rumour at this point, the empty berth at Balenciaga, left following the announcement that Nicolas Ghesqueire is leaving the cult label, appears to have Alexander Wang's name on it, according to New York Times critic Cathy Horyn.

Looks like "The Tale of who takes over as creative director of Balenciaga", is coming to an end. As reported today, Purple Magazine, the New York-based designer, who set up his label in 2007 aged 23, would certainly bring a new fanbase. His aesthetic, often based around sportswear details and a tough, warrior look, has attracted the downtown cognoscenti of New York, plus he has fashion plates such as model Erin Wasson, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Azealia Banks on speed dial. If Ghesquiere brought a boundary-pushing edginess, Wang might add the commercial angle that PPR, the parent company, are after. A $25m turnover by the time you're 25 would have surely caught their attention.
The fashion house has not yet made an official statement ,we will just have to wait and see.

Louis Vuitton Urban Handbag Collection

The new dedicated collection of urban bags by Louis Vuitton, which stars were Hanneli Mustaparta, Miroslava Duma and Elin Kling take part in the new advertisement. In the pictures the girls have appeared in almost everyday images to reflect the main idea of the collection: the combination of beauty, comfort and convenience (due to long strap bags hands free for the owners of their gadgets, or even to control the bike.)

Hanneli Miroslava and Elin, even though they live in different countries - Norway, Russia and Sweden - are united by one common quality - they are always at work, and such a thing as a city bag, they are not just an accessory, but a forced necessity. Perhaps that is why the girls look to get the footage so organically and naturally!

Chanel Lego Clutch bags

The spring-summer collection of Chanel fashionistas from around the world snapped up mentally on objects of desire in October, sitting in a show at the Grand Palais or watching a live broadcast from a computer screen. At the same time the popularity of a directly proportional enhancement depended on its size: large vinyl bags hats and exaggerated in the double hoops instead of knobs hit the Instagram page first, and smaller accessories like sandals and beads - behind them. Among the latter we could see a very curious thing, "toy" plastic clutch, as if made from parts designer Lego, with a long-chain strap. Yellow, green, or clear with black accents and the same Chanel logo , this clutch is easy to imagine in the hands of Susie Lau, Leandra Medine and Anna Dello Russo.

L'Invitation Au Voyage The Louis Vuitton Advertising Campaign Film

L'Invitation Au Voyage: the new Louis Vuitton campaign

This is Louis Vuitton's first ever TV commercial. Admittedly, the film is just as luxurious and as cinematic as a big screen movie trailer but is in fact a 2-minute ad shot by photographer-slash-director duo Inez and Vinoodh.

L'invitation Au Voyage or The Art Of Travel, sees Ms Muse going on a journey with the French fashion house, travelling to the heart of possibly the world’s greatest museum, the Louvre. Oh, and there's a hot man on her heels. 'What is she looking for in this temple of culture infused with the shadows of the past?' Louis Vuitton asks. Well, after passing the Mona Lisa armed with a key, she releases the secrets enclosed in an LV trunk before floating into the sunset via a stripey hot-air balloon.
The gorgeous film accompanies a series of equally gorgeous images starring Arizona, who has now been crowned 'the Louis Vuitton woman'
